What is workforce optimisation?

Workforce (or talent) optimisation is a discipline that provides business leaders, like you, with a framework and the tools to de-risk your investment in human capital by enabling you to design a people strategy that maps to your business strategy.

A people strategy encompasses your workplace culture, the roles your organisation needs to operate at peak performance, the people who should be deployed in those roles, so they are playing to their strengths, and team formation to maximise project and business results.

Four key components of The Heartware Group Model

Component one: Diagnose

In the first component of workforce optimisation, we measure and analyse your people data then prescribe improvement actions.

  1. Measure what matters
  2. Analyse the evidence
  3. Prescribe improvement actions.
Component two: Design

In the second phase of workforce optimisation, you’ll create and evolve your workforce strategy.

  1. Determine your organisation’s best workforce structure
  2. Evaluate your leadership team fit
  3. Understand senior team dynamics
  4. Design and establish your workplace culture.
Component three: Deploy

Also known as job alignment, this component of workforce optimisation looks to create alignment between roles and people, as well as equipping you to land top talent and build high-performing teams.

  1. Define and communicate job requirements
  2. Equip your leaders to land top talent
  3. Predict new team dynamics
  4. Determine candidate fit from a workplace culture perspective.
Component four: Deliver

In the final phase of workforce optimisation, you’ll focus on activities that drive and deliver employee engagement and job satisfaction.

  1. Create new jobs and career paths
  2. Develop your leaders’ capabilities
  3. Engineer high-performing teams
  4. Reinforce your workplace culture.
